The Cyrel Digital Imager CDI 5080 is computer-controlled and uses a laser to transfer the image to be printed onto a polymer plate that functions as a printing plate. The process delivers results that were previously only achieved with offset or gravure printing. The modular design concept consists of a laser imager and a UV exposure device. Glass surfaces dissolve the volume of the system. The visually soft and flowing control front is deliberately inclined towards the operator, creates characteristics and is ergonomically optimized. The shape of the machine, in combination with the HMI interface, gives the system its innovative expression.
