The computer-controlled Cyrel Digital Crystal Imager 5080 transfers the image to be printed onto a polymer plate, which acts as a printing plate, with a laser. The method provides results that could previously only be achieved with offset printing or gravure printing.
The modular design concept consists of a laser imager and UV exposure unit. Glass surfaces eliminate the volume of the system. The visually soft and fluid control panel is deliberately inclined towards the user, creates a characteristic, and is ergonomically optimised. The shape of the machine, combined with the HMI interface, gives the system its innovative look.
